Verbascum are great at creating height in flower beds and flower borders. As they grow in tall stems, the Verbascum Plant – Snowy Spires look great at the back of flower borders, with leaves often fuzzy and with a silvery sheen. Plant verbascum into well-drained, neutral or alkaline soil in full sun.
CARE:
Verbascum grows best under full sun in locations with moist but well drained soil and needs spacing 45cm, 18 inches apart. To encourage the plant to bloom again or to extend the bloom season cut off the centre stalk after initial flowering, at the point just above where the side shoots emerging.
