Cabbage ‘Wheelers Imperial’ produces firm, well-flavoured, pointed, tender hearts for a spring harvest. 36 weeks to maturity it grows to a height of around 30cm (12in) and a spread of 40cm (16in). Sown in July to early September it can be cropped as ‘spring greens’ from February and as hearted cabbage in spring.
