Hypericum x inodorum ‘Magical White’ (St. John’s Wort) is a semi-evergreen or deciduous, upright shrub adorned with a profusion of showy clusters of star-shaped yellow flowers from mid-summer to early fall. Each saucer-shaped flower presents 5 petals surrounding a prominent tuft of golden stamens.
How do you take care of Hypericum?
They grow best in partial shade and but tolerate full shade and full sun well. They grow well in almost all soil types but avoid highly acidic or alkaline ones. Established plants require no attention other than an annual prune to shape. This can be done with a hedge trimmer or a pair of secateurs.
