Throughout summer they bear masses of large, open, white to pale pink blooms with a bright red eye. Lavatera ‘Barnsley’ has striking soft pink flowers with a darker centre. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it the Award of Garden Merit (AGM). Grow Lavatera ‘Barnsley’ in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
