Osmanthus Purpurea (Dark Foliage) – 3 Ltr

Osmanthus heterophyllus is a handsome evergreen, rounded shrub with leathery holly like leaves. In this variety the young leaves are polished purple and then gradually turn green as they age. It is a handsome plant. The white tubular flowers in late summer and autumn are strongly scented.

Caring for Osmanthus

The plant is particularly hardy, and very easy in both full sun and partial shade and even full shade. Osmanthus enjoys a normal humus-rich soil, not too wet and not too dry. Give the 

plant a mixed fertiliser in spring and autumn

 to keep it healthy.
