Forming a dense, bushy mound of luminous, aromatic foliage, this comapct, sun-loving shrub is ideal for rockeries, patios or borders, where it will offer both colour and textural interest. In midsummer, the button-like flowers, which rise above the foliage on slender stems add to their appeal.
- Garden care: Remove the faded flower-heads along with any straggly shoots in autumn. In early spring cut back the flowered shoots to within 2.5cm (1in) of the old growth.
