Native to South America, the Jelly palm has proven to be remarkably hardy in the UK. Trunk forming with wonderful blue-green arching leaves. It is rather slow growing, but can reach 3-4m in the uk. Needs space as the radial shape can reach 2m+. Grows best in full sun, avoid exposure to strong or cold winds. Grows in any soil, but avoid areas prone to becoming waterlogged.
