Neat rosettes of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves are formed close to the ground. Leafless branched stalks growing from a dense basal rosette of succulent leaves and topped by flowers with 8-10 pale to deep pink or white-and-red-striped petals.
Care
Lewisia will need sufficient protection from winter moisture as excessive wet will damage the roots. Provide a monthly feed during the growing season using half strength all purpose fertiliser.
