Osteospermum is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the Calenduleae, one of the smaller tribes of the sunflower/daisy family Asteraceae. They are known as the daisybushes or African daisies.
Osteospermum are best planted in a well-drained soil of chalk or sand within an acidic, alkaline or neutral PH balance. They are best positioned in an area of full sun but will tolerate part shade if necessary.
