Alder (Alnus Glutinosa)

Alder or Alnus Glutinosa is a native deciduous hedging plant. This native variety is popular as part of a native mixed hedgerow, it is a very wildlife friendly species and extremely hardy and will do well in all soil types and locations, this adaptable variety will even tolerate water logged locations. Alder is available in bare root and pot grown forms, most common as a bare root whip and grows at 40-60cm per annum.
