Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Elizabeth’ (Kohuhu) is an upright, rounded, evergreen shrub boasting beautiful, oval, wavy-edged, gray-green leaves edged with cream and pink, in all seasons. In winter and cool weather, the pink becomes more pronounced. They provide a luminous and dense variegated foliage year-round.
Care: Pittosporum tenuifolium do best in well drained soil. They will suffer if the ground becomes water-logged. They show their best foliage colour when grown in full sun but will also do well in partial shade. They require minimal care, pruning is only required to keep them to shape or increase the density of the foliage.

Unique in form, with two-toned flower heads in mid-summer, it provides colour and garden interest over a long period, and is very easy to grow and care for too. Large, 12-16 inches long flower heads emerge white-cream, turning to pink and then finally continue deep burgundy, all the while Diamond Rouge will continue to push new white flowers from the tip of the panicle. The two-toned effect is absolutely stunning!
