‘White Feather’ is a vigorous, densely-tufted, clump-forming, evergreen perennial grass with sharp-edged, narrow, arching, mid-green leaves and erect stems bearing upright panicles of silky, creamy-white flower spikelets from midsummer into autumn.

Its flowers are excellent for drying. For best results grow Cortaderia selloana in well-drained soil in full sun. Plants are best tidied annually to keep them free from debris which otherwise builds up and chokes out new growth.
