The flowers open a pretty shade of pinkish peach and then lighten to a soft peach color with tiny orange speckled throats. The basal foliage forms a compact clump and the plants are well-branched. Digitalis forms large rosettes of downy, green, oblong leaves from which numerous flower spikes emerge.
CARE
How do you take care of a Digitalis Dalmatian?
Garden care: Ensure that the soil is kept moist in summer. After flowering, cut back the flowered spikes to encourage more sideshoots. Cut down to the ground after flowering. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the plant in early spring.
