Polemonium caeruleum ‘Bambino Blue’ (Jacob’s Ladder) is a compact, clump-forming perennial prized for its ravishing clusters of open bell-shaped, violet-blue flowers. Blooming in mid to late spring, they are borne atop stiff leafy stems and rise well above the foliage mound of finely divided, fern-like leaves.
